Selling your songs shouldn't feel like a mystery.

We buy publishing and masters from independent artists and writers. Fair prices, plain English, and a process we explain before you start.

Free. No obligation. Your name stays on the songs as the writer, always.

What we pay

A fair multiple of what the songs actually earn.

A fair price, in writing

Statements, not streams

A Spotify link tells us you exist. The price comes from what the songs have actually paid you, so it's your royalty statements we need.

Everything included

One price for the rights and the money that comes with them, past and future. One agreement, no earn-out small print.

Paid when you sign

The money lands the day the agreement is signed. Your name stays on the songs as the writer, always.

How it works

Six steps, no jargon. You can walk away at any of them.

Here's how it goes

01

Say hi

Tell us what you've got and what you're thinking of selling. Some songs, all of them, the recordings, the publishing, whatever it is.

02

We keep it between us

We sign an NDA, then you send over your royalty statements, the ones your distributor and your society e-mail you. Two or three years is ideal. Missing some? We'll help you find them.

03

We get the calculator out

We look at what the songs have earned, where it's heading, and who else has a slice. Free, and no obligation.

04

You get a number

A price and the terms, in writing, in plain English. Show it to your lawyer, your manager, your mum.

05

We check the paperwork

Who owns what, any old deals still hanging around, whether the songs are registered properly. Then one agreement your lawyer can read in a sitting.

06

Done

You sign, we pay. We tell the societies and distributors where to send the money from now on. Your name stays on the songs, always.

What you can sell

PublishingYour share of the songs themselves.

MastersThe recordings.

Both, or just some songsYou can sell part of a catalogue and keep the rest.

Questions

Press reveal.

Do I have to sell everything?

No. Plenty of writers sell a few older songs and keep the rest, or sell the publishing and keep the recordings. Your call.

What do you need from me?

Your royalty statements for the last two or three years — the ones your distributor, your society and anyone else who pays you send through — plus a list of the songs, who wrote what, and any deals that already cover them. Missing some? We'll help you find them.

Is it confidential?

Yes. We sign an NDA before you send us a thing, and what you share is used to value the catalogue and nothing else.

How is the price worked out?

From what the songs have actually earned, which way that's heading, and a fair multiple for the rights involved. The working is in the offer so you can see it.

What about my distributor?

Nothing changes for them unless you sell the recordings, in which case we sort the handover with them.

How long does it take?

Depends on the catalogue and how quickly the statements turn up. A simple one can be done in a few weeks; most take a bit longer. We keep you posted, and you can stop at any point before you sign.
